Terms & Conditions

1. General

By booking services with Muttley Crew Dog Training, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

2. Owner Responsibility

Owners are responsible for their dog and their dog’s behaviour at all times.
Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times.

To help everyone get the most out of class, we ask that no more than two children attend per booking. Training sessions require focus and timing, so where possible, we recommend that very young children do not attend.

3. Training Approach

Classes are designed to be positive, fun, and rewarding.

Harsh handling or aversive techniques are not permitted. The use of choke chains, prong collars, shock collars, or any tools designed to cause discomfort or punishment is not allowed.

4. Participation Requirements

Training relies on food and/or toy rewards, please bring suitable rewards to each session.

We recommend dogs are not fed for approximately 3 hours before class to maximise engagement.

Dogs must remain on lead at all times unless instructed otherwise.
Flexi leads are not permitted.

Owners must clean up after their dogs.

5. Safety & Conduct

Dogs should be given appropriate space; on-lead greetings are not permitted.

Not all dogs are suitable for interaction or play, this will be managed at the trainer’s discretion.

Any injury must be reported immediately during the session.

6. Suitability & Welfare

If a class environment is not suitable, alternative support options will be discussed.

Dogs must be fit and healthy to attend.

Do not attend if your dog is unwell or has been exposed to a contagious illness.

Bitches in season must not attend; alternative arrangements will be offered.

7. Vaccinations

Puppies must have received at least one vaccination to attend puppy classes.

8. Classes & Scheduling

Course dates and times are confirmed at booking and run weekly.

We reserve the right to amend schedules where necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.

Missed classes cannot be transferred or made up in alternative sessions.

9. Fees & Payments

Full payment is required in advance to secure your place.

Bookings are not confirmed until payment is received.

Prices are as advertised at the time of booking.

Payment methods include BACS or cash.

10. Cancellations & Refunds

Course fees are non-refundable.

One-to-one sessions require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling.

Late cancellations or missed sessions will be charged in full.

Rescheduled sessions must be used within 28 days or will be forfeited.

11. Behaviour Disclosure

Owners must disclose any history of aggression, biting, reactivity, or significant behavioural concerns prior to attending sessions.

Failure to do so may result in removal from class without refund.

12. Liability

Participation in training is at your own risk.

Muttley Crew Dog Training is not liable for injury, loss, damage, or illness unless caused by proven negligence.

13. Results Disclaimer

Training outcomes are not guaranteed.

Success depends on consistency, practice, and owner engagement outside of sessions.

14. Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw services if a situation is deemed unsafe or unsuitable.

15. Photography & Media

Photos or videos may occasionally be taken during sessions.

We will always seek your permission before filming. Any approved footage may be used for social media or educational purposes.

16. Training Environment

Our training sessions are designed to be a safe, supportive, and positive space for both dogs and their owners.

Punishment-based methods, harsh lead corrections, slip leads, and aversive handling are not permitted.

Progress is dependent on consistency and the time dedicated to training outside of sessions.
